Take Action on Health Care
After years of talk and inaction, we are finally at a point where we have a real chance for national health care reform. President Obama is pushing hard for this change, but real change will only come with our support and action.
Please contact your elected representative. A letter works best or a phone call or email to their local office. Here's a sample letter or communication:

I support President Obama's healthcare reform and I am asking you to vote to support real reform now. Real reform must include:
Reduced costs — Rising health care costs are crushing the budgets of governments, businesses, individuals, and families, and they must be brought under control Guaranteed choice — Every American must have the freedom to choose their plan and doctor – including the choice of a public insurance option Ensure quality care for all — All Americans must have quality and affordable health care
