Long Islanders for Change is a community-action group of concerned citizens of all political affiliations. Our mission is to support and work to achieve the vision and goals outlined in the Obama campaign.

Long Islanders for Change grew out of the Obama grassroots campaign on Long Island. We welcome Long Islanders of all political persuasion to join us in the following activities:

• Service Days that support our local community. Our Service Days have included a warm clothing drive, a food drive, a children's book event, a meal for the indigent and a healthy families Day.
   
• Political Action ranging from making phone calls to sending letters and emails and joining rallies to support causes we endorse.
